Mike Price
Mike was integral in the creation of the GLSA in 2006, and is still dedicated to raising the bar for superior sports development for the region. During Mike's time with the organization he has not only earned a CSEE (Certified Sports Event Executive) designation but also cultivated dozens of key relationships within the sports community. Born and raised in the Greater Lansing area, Mike is also a wealth of knowledge about the local sports scene, its venues and all the assets on hand that can make your event great. Mike also has a robust background in media, sales and customer service. As a manager and trainer for the Best Buy Corporation he imparted his proven knowledge of sales and customer service to hundreds of employees throughout the Midwest. Multitasking at full speed pace was the order of the day as Assignment Manager with local NBC-TV affiliate, WILX Channel 10. As a Producer for a successful local sports talk radio station, Mike was heavily involved in the sports community and worked daily with its key players. Meghan is a 2008 graduate of the Michigan State University School of Communications and was most recently employed with Suburban Ice East Lansing. While at Suburban Ice she was a figure skating instructor and served on several committees for various figure skating competitions held at the facility. Meghan previously served as the sports events intern for the GLSA and has been serving in her current role since fall, 2009. Meghan has a proven understanding of what it takes to make an event in Greater Lansing successful backed with a passion for complete customer service. From critical event logistics to the very last detail she will work as your partner in creating a successful sports event.T.J. Hawkins
As sports coordinator with the GLSA, TJ leverages his sports background, local contacts and customer relations skills to help create an excellent sports experience in Greater Lansing. As a Michigan State University graduate and current Head Coach of the JV and Assistant Coach of the Varsity basketball team at Lansing Eastern High School, TJ has proven he can get the job done and lead others to accomplish a common goal. From helping with tournament organization to event lead follow-up, TJ functions as the first man off the bench, ready to come in and help out wherever his skills are best needed.Brendan Dwyer
Brendan is a 1999 graduate of the Michigan State University School of Journalism and has been with the Greater Lansing Sports Authority since its inception in 2006. As the Manager of Marketing Communications for the GLSA Brendan handles numerous design, writing and media coordination responsibilities. As a life-long Greater Lansing resident Brendan has a firm understanding of the Capital region and its unique sports culture.
