The Greater Lansing Sports Authority hosts many different sporting events and groups. Many times the success of these events can depend on being able to connect with the local business community. Each visiting group differs in its varying opportunities for local businesses to participate.

When the GLSA brings sports events to our community which result in thousands upon thousands of athletes competing on our fields, courts, sheets of ice and bowling alleys, they are also bringing potential customers, looking for goods and services of every kind. These athletes also bring friends, family and fans to the community where they stay in our hotels, shop in our stores, and eat in our restaurants. When you get involved in sports events these customers see your name and will come knocking on your door!

The Greater Lansing Sports Authority is now seeking partners for its highly-successful basketball fan fest March Magic Hoopfest. Now in its third year the event has really taken hold in the community and has become a favorite for basketball fans of all ages. Held in conjunction with the Boys and Girls MHSAA Basketball State Finals the event offers a very low cost, high-energy event held at the Jenison Field House, located just across the street from the tournament games being held at the Breslin Center.
