At the GLSA we like to say that you can consider us as an extension of your own staff, as committed to the success of your event as you are but with loads of local relationships and proven know-how to really help get the job done.
How Can the GLSA Help?
Some of the key ways the GLSA services department helps visiting sports groups is with numerous marketing and public relations duties. For example, we are happy to provide signage, credentials and help with print programs for your event. We'll help you pre-promote an event coming to Greater Lansing in a future year at the current event. We can draft press releases and media advisories to get news of your event out to the public and local media channels. We can build you a custom microsite, to live on lansingsports.org with an independent URL to showcase all the event information for your registering attendees and their families.
How about when your event gets here? Are we still around to help? Yes! We're here to provide local referrals of every kind, from potential food vendors, to entertainment to access to referees, judges or a large local volunteer base. We can provide area information, welcome bags for attendees and are here to literally help as much as is needed. So yes, lots and lots of help available BUT conversely, if your event is a ship-shape operation and you have it down to a science, we can also be completely hands of, just here if you have questions.
