There is so much to see in fact, I’m recommending you attend multiple days and make it a weekend in Greater Lansing! Country Concert with Josh Thompson – Country music artist and avid outdoorsman Josh Thompson will perform a special concert at the 30th Annual Field & Stream Outdoor Life Michigan Deer & Turkey Expo. Fans love him for his blue-collar, fist pumpin’ attitude and fierce performances. Attendees will also get to see a softer and more introspective side of Josh as he plays songs from his new album titled Change: the Lost Record Volume One. All general admission Deer & Turkey Expo ticket buyers on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 will be invited to stay for this special acoustic performance that runs from 7:00 p –8:00 p at the concert area located within the Deer & Turkey Expo.
Shoot Like A Girl Virtual Range – Karen Butler, named one of Outdoor Life’s 25 most influential people in 2011, started this interactive shooting experience, which strives to empower women to participate in shooting sports and the outdoors with confidence.  Women will have a chance to shoot a 9mm pistol, .223 rifle and a number of compound bows with supervised instruction.
Youth Archery Range – Experience the feeling of shooting a compound bow with our lightweight draw Genesis and Mini Genesis bows. All gear provided. Adult supervision and safe shooting instruction available.
Airgun Range – Whether you’re a first time shooter or simply want to assess your accuracy, test out the Jake’s Take Aim Airgun Range. The supervised area provides a safe opportunity for attendees of all ages as well as shooting instructions if needed.
Bowfishing Tryout Range – Extend your hunting season and keep your archery skills tuned by learning how to bowfish. Invasive carp species are invading our waterways and what better way to wage war on them than with a bow! People of all ages will have a chance shoot bowfishing bows into a water tank under supervision. There are right and left handed bows available in youth sizes (10-20#) and adult sizes (30-50#). All bows are equipped with bowfishing reels, line and arrows.
Exhibitor Shooting Ranges – Try before you buy the latest models on the market at the bow tryout area.  Bow manufacturers and retailers provide the opportunity to test any bow or crossbow of your choosing.
Hoverball Shooting – Take on World Famous Trick Shooter Byron Ferguson with this fun moving target game.  Shoot lightweight bows with foam tipped arrows at bouncing balls floating on a column of air. Additional fees apply.  Located next to the booth of world famous trick shooter Byron Ferguson.
Trophy Deer Contest – The only thing better than looking at a display of trophy animals is when one of them is your own. Bring your best deer from any season to get an official score and have it displayed for everyone to see.  A free weekend pass to the expo is included with contest entry.  All entries will be measured by the Commemorative Bucks of Michigan club. Shed Antler Contest – If you enjoy searching for sheds then this contest is for you.  Bring in any single or matched set sheds to get an official score and then put them up on display for everyone to see.  Click here for more details.
Wall of Fame Entry – Do you have a 150+ inch whitetail mount that is already officially scored?  If so, bring it in on Friday between 10am-1pm before the Expo opens and put it on display for the weekend. Door Prize Drawings and Free Subscription – Simply fill out your admission ticket and drop it in the entry buckets near the entrance gates.
