Tell me. Does this look like a place you could both have fun and get fit? You bet!

Yes it’s late February, and by now about half of the people that made a New Year’s resolution have given up on it. Especially those that pledged to lose weight, get fit and drop major poundage. Why? Because it’s hard work! And also, let’s be honest, February is a tough time to cut back on eating. Its cold outside and there’s not a lot going on. All you want to do is order a few pizzas, get under a blanket, watch movies and pig out. I understand completely. Problem is, as much as it’s tempting to do that, and it feels good at the time, for the long run – it’s a bad way to live. Inactivity leads to depression and wolfing pizza leads to being fat. Once in a great while is fine, but having no exercise in your life spells bad news. Now, before I get on a soap box about exercise I want to get back to my point; exercise and eating right is tough. Especially if you’re doing the same exercises and eating the same healthy things all the time. That gets boring and you want to quit just because you feel like a zombie, doing the same thing all the time. The way to not quit on a new-found life of wellness is to keep it fun and interesting. Lucky for us, there are a lot of places in Greater Lansing where you can get exercise in new, fun, playful and unique ways! So fun in fact, you won’t even know you’re exercising.
