LANSING, Mich.— The Greater Lansing Sports Authority (GLSA) and the Warrior Lacrosse program are pleased to announce the Middle School Boys Lacrosse Festival May 11-12 in Greater Lansing. The event, now in its 20th year, will bring 50 youth lacrosse teams from 3rd grade to 8th grade from around the state for top lacrosse competition.

The Warrior Lacrosse program (WLCC Lax Inc) offers one of the largest facilities in the Midwest with nine (9) full-size fields, all located on the campus of  Waverly High School at 160 Snow Road in Lansing.

“The Warriors Lacrosse program has been an incredible catalyst for the growth of lacrosse in this community,” said Mike Price, Executive Director of the GLSA. “We’re thrilled to have this successful tournament and lacrosse festival celebrating 20 years in the Greater Lansing community.”

In celebration of the 20-year anniversary of the festival event organizers will offer a special price and have special surprises throughout the weekend for players and spectators. Transportation will be provided for team equipment and for senior spectators with golf carts and a fully stocked concession stand including breakfast burritos, grilled hot dogs and burgers, drinks and snacks will be provided. Festival T-shirts will be available at the Team LAX Tent.

“Our festival is a celebration of the game of lacrosse,” said Mia Keefer,  We host players from grades 3 to 8 for a weekend of competitive play and fun. Each team receives four games against teams they wouldn’t play in their normal season. We don’t track wins or losses, it’s all about the experience and supporting the sport.
