The Special Olympics State Unified Day is on May 12, 2026.
Join us for Unified Day! Unified Day will feature unified teams from schools and areas in three sports: Unified Bocce, Unified Pickleball and Unified Team Track and Field. Volunteer as an individual or as a group. Shifts include:
- Boccee
- Team Track
- Pickleball
- Parking and Logistics
- Special Events

2026 USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals is occuring May 13-17, 2026.
Lansing Sports Commission is excited to welcome the 2026 USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals to Lansing May 14-17. The competition will be held at Hope Sports Complex. No archery experience or knowledge is required for volunteer opportunities. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Barbara Powers-Garmyn at bpowers@lansing.org. Special Events
Assist the Lansing Sports Commission® with various athletic tournaments and events throughout the community. Events are primarily on weekends. Duties range from registration assistance to supporting athletes' needs. These events provide the perfect backdrop for corporate team building or high school community service credits.
