LANSING, Mich.— The Greater Lansing Sports Authority is pleased to welcome back to the community one of its longest running sports event partners, Senior Softball USA, for the 2019 Senior Softball Northern Championships, August 15-18. Softball games will feature 50 different teams with players ranging in age from 40-years-old to 80-years-old.

LANSING, Mich.— The Greater Lansing Sports Authority is pleased to partner with the Capital Area Rugby Foundation and the Michigan Rugby Union to bring the 2019 Michigan Rugby Cup to the Capital Region. The event, sanctioned by USA Rugby, will consist of 12 adult men’s teams from across the Midwest and will be held at Hope Sports Complex Saturday August 10, 2019.

LANSING, Mich.— The Greater Lansing Sports Authority is pleased to announce the return of two sports events making for a huge sports weekend in the community. The Great Lakes Lacrosse Invitational, now in it’s 15th year, will bring top teams from all over the country for two weekends of first-rate competition, July 5-7 and July 12-14. The Grand River Rumble will draw over 3,000 wrestlers for premium competition at the Lansing Center July 12-14.

LANSING, Mich.— The Greater Lansing Sports Authority and the Mid-Michigan Tennis Association will host a press conference on July 1st at 10 a.m. at the MSU Tennis Center to announce plans to bring the Capital City Tennis Classic to Greater Lansing this Fall. Event organizers will be present to provide comment. This event, sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), will be the first professional men’s tennis tournament ever held in the state of Michigan.
