LANSING, Mich.— The Greater Lansing Sports Authority (GLSA), the Mitten Kittens and the Lansing Derby Vixens, are pleased to announce the 8th annual Mitten Kitten Mash-Up will be held October 5-7 at the Summit Sports and Ice Complex in Dimondale, Michigan. The twenty-five-team tournament is the annual celebration and showcase of flat track roller derby features a collection of tournaments - 2 Divisions of the state's best adult teams, the 'Great Lakes Classic' featuring newer leagues, a 4-team Juniors Tournament, a Tournament of former state Championship teams - and more bonus fun from the best roller derby teams and skaters from Michigan.

LANSING, Mich.— The Greater Lansing Sports Authority, The Professional Disc Golf Association and the local area women’s professional disc golf team, the Capital Area Crushers, are pleased to announce that the United States Women’s Disc Golf Championships will be held September 21-23 on two courses at Burchfield Park. The tournament is sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). The PDGA is the international governing body for the sport of disc golf and sanctions over 3,500 tournaments in all 50 states, 34 countries, and 8 provinces each year for professional and amateur disc golfers.

LANSING, Mich.— NUWAY Wrestling, America's Premier Wrestling Association, is coming back to the Lansing Center for some of the best youth wrestling competition in the country. The NUWAY Wrestling ChristmaSparty (a youth wrestling tournament featuring over 1,200 wrestlers from across the country) will bring the Lansing Center to a fever-pitch December 16-17, 2017.

LANSING, Mich.— Region 5 won the Super Team title at the 2017 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern Championships. The three-day championships, which showcased 454 female gymnasts, wrapped up April 30 in Lansing, Mich., at Summit Sports and Ice Complex. The Junior Olympic Eastern Championships and its sister event, the Junior Olympic Western Championships, are the culmination of the competitive season for Level 9.
