LANSING, Mich.- The Greater Lansing Sports Authority (GLSA), a division of the Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau, is pleased to announce it has hired Tom Kinder, CTA as Sports Development Manager, a brand new position with the organization.
A lifetime resident of the Greater Lansing area, Kinder studied Hospitality, Travel and Tourism at Lansing Community College before eventually becoming owner of Kinder Travel & Tours. Most recently employed with Student Group Travel Educational Tours, Kinder is a member of the Lansing Jaycees, Sunrise Rotary of Lansing and is currently the Treasurer of the Haslett Athletic Boosters. Kinder is also a registered official with the MHSAA, USA Volleyball, US Lacrosse and more.
"We are excited to fill this new position at the GLSA with such a well-qualified candidate," said Jack Schripsema, President and CEO of the Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Tom's local connections and tourism know-how will serve the GLSA well as it continues to grow as a major economic driver for the region."
