With 175,000 sq. ft. of contemporary space including nearly 72,000 sq. ft. of column-free exhibit halls and 20 breakout rooms, the Lansing Center is a hub for a variety of sports events. Here's a look at just a few tournaments that the space recently accommodated.

National Horseshoe Pitchers Association World Finals

Lansing was the host city of the 2023 World Horseshoe Pitching tournament, a two-week event that required a full week to set up 60 pitching courts using 25 tons of Kentucky Blue Clay. Click the photo to learn more about the event!

Roller Derby: Mitten Kitten Mash-Up

Roller derby teams from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Maryland spent a weekend in Lansing during the Mitten Kitten Mash-Up. The Lansing Center's wide open event space was ideal for two derby tracks with room for spectators.

NUWAY Wrestling Events

The Lansing Center also hosts multiple annual NUWAY wrestling events, including the Grand River Rumble and the Christmas Sparty Weekend. The space allows for dozens of matches to take place at once, with bleachers for spectators.
